My ancestral home is known for many things that have been written, sung, photographed and praised, or cursed, about as far back as people have been traveling across the country. This particular area in County Claire has interested me since my first visit to the west coast in 2000. The look, texture, and shape of the land are like none I’ve seen anywhere, and I discover something different each time I raise my camera.
